How to set goals for AppX Sales/Agency Growth?

Once we establish baseline metrics we need to set target goals for the program.

After you have reviewed the management system trainings in the Agency Performance Pack we can start to set some goals for the program. 

Phase 1 (First 10-12 Weeks)

The major goal here is to improve the sales closing ratio. This is critical as we don't want to add in more opportunities until the closing ratio is worked on. Once the sales process becomes a habit we can start to set true goals around account rounding, increasing coverage and re-marketing. 

We recommend we target the following goals:

  • 10 weeks where the team follows the sales process
  • Sales closing ratio will lag since it takes a few weeks for sales to close.  We typically don't see the sales closing ratio change until around the 3rd month of the process. We want to see the closing ratio change by 10% and an increase in written premium of 10%

Phase 2 (Second 10-12 Weeks)

The major goal here is to continue to optimize the sales process but also add new opportunities in. 

We recommend we target the following goals:

  • Increase in written premium of another 10% over the first phase
  • Increase of sales closing ratio of another 10% over the first phase
