Can I email the client rather than make a renewal review call?

Emailing the client is only ok after a call is made.
We do not want to conduct a complicated review via email.
However, for some clients it may state they prefer email over a call. In these situations you may email them to schedule a call.
While email make seem efficient, it's simply not effective. Many emails today go to junk or spam and the reality is they are easy to delete. When looking to improve coverage or cross sell an email isn't the same as an in person request via the phone!
